Is this Kielys in Donnybrook or Mount Merrion? The 2 pints would be useless for me cos i gotta go to work after the match :(

Yeah the Wool Shed on parnell street has it on too, decent enough place serving breakfast as well!

The Wool Shed is a good spot for matches, went to watch a couple of the Six Nations matches there.

can be hard to get a seat with a good view of a tv despite the place being half covered in them!

Where abouts on Parnell St. is the Wool Shed? Must be new. Someone in work suggested Roddy Boland's in Rathmines but I can't confirm it.

it's right beside the cinema...used to be called the outback bar or something.

Maybe it has something to do with the Woolshed bar in Cairns....one of the guidebooks said something like "no easier place to pull in all australia"

    ....and it's true!!! ;)

And as huggy said its rite beside the cinema opposite pennys

Are you talking about pulling or watching rugby? Somehow, I don't think I'd be in great form for pulling having gotten up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning.

isn't the Goat grill (Goatstown) known for being a sports bar of sorts?

I have not got Sky Sports and I don't think that going to the pub at 7.30am is an option. So I was wondering if anyone knows if the match is being shown (in full) on terresterial television at a later time tomorrow?

I have looked on Aertel.ie and couldn't see it anywhere, but I am just hoping that I am blind (or stupid) and can't see it!

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers.

i'd be pretty sure the matches won't appear on terrestrial tv....it's a great money spinner for sky as it increases subsription....i've signed up just for the next 6weeks just for the rugby.....lions tour and practically every tour match abroad will be on sky too

Id say theres very little chance the matches being played on terrestial tv aswell. Theres no chance of the matches prior to the test matches against the All Blacks might have some chance of catching those games on the bbc or something though.

    Hey lads,
im in Rhode Island now and the chances of me seeing the Lions' matches in a pub are slim to none, any idea if there are any sites streaming the match? or will i have to make do with Sky Sports running text commentary.

    Thanks

I've picked my spot - The Dropping Well in Milltown. They do a good breakfast and it's not far from where I live.
