Know this probably isn't the place for this thread but getting tickets to the Sziget festival in Budapest this this week and it will be the first time me or any one I know will be going, it sounds brilliant (Franz Ferdinand, Opeth etc) but camping on an island for a week sounds a bit intense, so any advice on how much and where to get food, drink and other stuff would be appreciated.

    Hey RDM...
My bro was at the festival last year... And he said it blows Oxegen/Witness out of the water.. The camping facilities are amazing. Food and Drink and all is catered for excellently and The music goes on all night. Lucky to be going over.. He said that last year the linee-up wasn't amazing but still had planty to see and do... You'll love it

I went myself three years ago and it really really really rocks. Pars with glastonbury but no rain. Don't worry about the heat. I was there in 38 degrees and you just don't feel it cos they don't get humidity problems like we do! The beer and food are cheaper and better on the island [it's on an island on the danube in the middle of Budapest] than off. You won't really need to go off the island but if you are, the only place to stay is the museum guesthouse hostel. don't know the contact details but a google will get a result. Go, I would if I could!
