The Behringer V-Amp Pro

Anyone have any experience of this?

I'm looking for amp modeller/plaything for my little recording set-up and this caught my eye. Any reviews I've read compare it quite favourably with the Line6 Pod XT Pro, at a fraction of the cost. I like the fact that it's rack-mounted and made of metal (although a fairly light metal I'd say). The web seems to have it's share of Behringer bashers though, I've never got anything by them before so is this an issue or just snobbery?

I've heard a few little snippets of this thing, and like the way sounds, like the price, like the look, like the connectivity......anyone got anything to add?

I think it's just snobbery, the Behringer stuff is supposedly extremely good for the price, and I'd nearly consider getting a V-Amp Pro myself, for recording purposes. Anything I've heard about it puts it higher than the Pod XT Pro, and I know one fellow on another board who really swears by it, and uses it live. I wouldn't use any amp modelling live myself, but for knocking out a few demos, I certainly see much use for it.

Cheers lads, I think this could be a runner, it's £116Stg on the web compared to £380 or so for the PodXT.
