    Hi All!

    Have just ordered an 80cm dish with digital Lnb to get satellite broadband, query is when I point the dish and align etc what is the best dvb hardware to get as I want to share connection across my wireless lan in the house?

    The best hardware depends on what you want to do and on your budget. If you want the card simply for DVB-IP, then a Skystar 2 would be fine. If you have a reasonably powerful PC, it will also work for sat TV channels etc. Plenty of freeware available too. A Technotrend/Hauppauge/SS1 is more expensive but has onboard MPEG2 processing, so requires a less powerful CPU, and has Video out. There are various other such as Twinhan, Pinnacle etc which are also equally capable. Just ensure that the sat ISP you intend using supports the specific card.
