I got a goal with Carlos where he was running from the corner of the box (away from the goal line) at a 45 degree angle, and he shot with his left foot by crossing it behind his right leg (you know the trick), it went in off the crossbar in the far top corner. The amazing thing is that they actually put that move in, such attention to detail. It's the only time I've ever seen a player shoot that way.

the best goal i scored was on 6 star master league, my keeper kicked it out of his box into the opposing keepers box, who came out to catch it but it hit off his own defender and went in. funniest own goal ever.

I scored a bizarre goal a few days ago actually. The ball rebounded off a player or something and ended up rolling into the right hand side of the box, no players near it and keeper running out to pick it up as usual. Suddenly keeper just stops about 3 yards away from the ball and stands there looking at it. All the defenders (who were closer than my strikers) just stood there aswell. It took Kaka an eternity to run in from the wing and tap it in first time while the comp team just sat back and watched.

I don't know what setting we had it on. Could've only been 1 star. Not to bragg, but I'm sure these goals would've gone in no matter what star setting was selected. I won't lose any sleep over it anyway!

I thought those bars meant the aggressiveness of your team. So if it's over to the right your players will close down the other team more aggressively when without the ball, and will aid in attack when with the ball. And when it's towards the left your team will sit back in defense and be reluctant to attack. I think you can set it to automatically change or to change it manually.

Well he said "we" so I'm guessing it was 2 player. I scored one similar to that with Ze Roberto, level with the edge of the centre circle went right in the top corner. But I'm on PS2 so I might aswell be making these up if I can't post them.

Cheers for noticing DS. All of the goals I post up are from 2 player matches(leagues that we have in my house, just put in a fiver each etc.). It's no fun playing the computer anyway. The computer won't rub it in after it thrashes me, which it probably would if I were only bold enough to play it on a 6 star rating.

Yeah it's a way better game on 2 player. I find against the computer once you play it enough you can just predict a lot of what it's gonna do (no matter what difficulty), which makes it very easy to dribble around them and tackle them. For example if you're chasing a comp player down the wing, wait till you're just slightly ahead of him, and he'll check his run and turn back every time. And the amount of times I've watched the comp (always 6-star) **** up a counter attack and said to myself if it was 2 player that would've been a goal.

Not quite, its your players aggresiveness or passiveness with respect to attacking. Blue to the left means they're more defensive oriented whereas Red to the right means they're more attack minded.
If you leave it on Auto setting you can see it changing as you have possession and attack, as the computer changes players mentality for you. If you turn it onto manual you can set it yourself.
These bars usually directly relate to how attacking your (or your opponents) team is. In the last 15mins of a game you're winning 1-0, look at the comps bars and they'll mostly be in the red, thats why they seem to be pushing you back into your own half so much, but are easier to counter.

I can't take credit for the Henry goal. That was my mate Nick.

For shots like the Henry one, once you hit the shoot button, move the analogue stick left or right to swerve the ball. Make sure you're not pushing the analogue stick while you're pressing shoot, but rather wait until you've released the shoot button.

Of course it does help being Henry, who's shooting stats are probably through the roof. The swerve on that particular shot was just hilarious!

Hmm, seems very suspicious. Remember the 'rush out' bug? Basically if you even tap triangle when taking a shot the keeper gets out of position, making it very easy to score.

I'm sorry, but imo there has been nothing spectacular so far.

I've played a lot of pes/we/iss and those type of goals you see fairly often

Thats just my opinion, do you have some reason to believe those goals are outstanding?

I suppose the only fair benchmark is to have them all scored on 6*

Although when im playing, id play less tight versus a human opponent(if there is nothing at stake)

BazH, at no point did I ever claim to be amazingly good at this game. I just decided to make some avi files out of some of the good goals I & my friends have clocked up so far and post them up on this forum, which is called 'Goals Goals Goals (Gallery)'.

I mean no offense by this, but considering you're a hosted moderator of this forum, I would expect you to be a little bit more diplomatic regarding your opinion, which I felt in this case, was slightly belittling.
