    By train on Sunday:

Galway - Heuston services that provides a connection into Dublin - Belfast Enterprise.

    Galway Dep: 08:40, 13:50, 14:55.
    Heuston Arr: 11:15, 16:25, 17:37.

Take LUAS tram or Dublin Bus route 90 from Heuston to Connolly. A Galway - Belfast rail ticket is vaild on the tram and bus.

    Connolly Dep: 14:30, 15:00, 18:00, 18:30.
    Belfast Central Arr: 16:35, 17:14, 19:58, 20:42.

Note: 15:00 ex Connolly is a non Enterprise service, it is formed by IE Intercity stock.

    By Bus on a Sunday:

    Route: 064
    Galway Dep: 10:00, 14:00
    Sligo Arr: 12:30, 16:30

    Route: 066
    Sligo Dep: 13:30, 17:00
    Enniskillen arr: 14:55, 18:25

    Route: 261
    Enniskillen dep: 15:20, 18:55
Belfast Europa Bus station arr: 17:40, 21:10.

    Route: 065
    Galway dep: 15:00
    Cavan arr: 18:15

    Route: 270
    Cavan dep: 18:50
Belfast Europa Bus station arr: 21:30

If your travelling next weekend (the Bank Holiday) please check with your service provider that the services are running as they may be subject to alteration during bank holiday periods.

One other option is bus via Dublin.
    Galway dep 06.30 07.30 09.30 11.30 13.30
    Dublin arr 09.55 11.00 13.00 15.00 17.00
    Dublin dep 10.00 12.00 14.00 16.00 18.00
    Belfast arr 12.55 14.55 16.55 18.55 20.50

The 6.30 is a tight connection but at that hour on a Sunday it should be on time or early. For the others you could chance leaving Galway an hour later but with the traffic on Sundays it would be a gamble.

Because Dublin - Belfast has a cheap single at €7 it is likely to be the cheapest if you buy the tickets for each leg seperately. the total cost would be €20.50 single or €31 return.
