They all write tracks moaning about how they get treated with no respect and all that bullsh1t but then they go and write diss tracks. What is the point. Real artists should be able to write songs and music with out having to insult someone. Eminem who is definatlay one of the most well known dissers is a fool! They all are. People who buy this crap make excuses when they buy this stuff like "I bought it because it's funny". It's not funny when people are actually getting hurt because of this stuff. Weird Al's songs are funny because they're a friendly satire not a full on battle with another artist.

how could i forget about STOMP! by yungbuck feat. T.I & Ludacris. this song is my fav diss track. luda & t.i go at each other on the same track. bananas!!!

Battling is a large part of rap music. Diss tracks are just another form of battling. I guess its popular because its a very macho genre of music.

'Tis a woeful track made by a woeful rapper, enough said.

I like the Hail Mary remix with Eminem, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes.
Bump Heads is another one.

The Sauce and Nail in the Coffin are Eminem's attacks on Benzino.

Sh*t Hits the Fan by Obie Trice and Dr Dre is probably the best anti-Ja Rule track out there.

There was a few, You Dont Really Want It was the main one but there was two others, Clear 'em out and Ovah Here, Kris destroyed him as expected, it was a bit of strange one because there was never going to be much of a competition with nelly really, as he said in the song "I'm a flame thrower, you a bic lighter.." which is why it was such a strange match up, although from what i know nelly brought it upon himself.

When Nelly released Number 1 as a single Krs got really pissed off because he thought it was absolute cheek of an rnb singer/rapper to be calling himself the best rapper.

As legend as the man is KRS was an asshole to bring about this feud, Nelly mentioned in a song that he thought he was #1 and KRS, wanting spotlight he had failed to get in recent years, dissed him. Course KRS would murder Nelly, but Nelly explained very well in his diss reasons behind KRS'S diss.
