volunteering in france

hi. i'm 17 and i'd love to volunteer in france this summer. all the websites i've seen, you have to be a u.k/french/usa resident etc. to register. is the only volunteer organisation in ireland vsi - beacause for their projects you have to be over 18. any help appreciated, thanks.

VSI youth groups aren't over 18! my bf went to france with them last year..
