Next time they pop up, right click on them and adblock them.

Here's an idea: Get banned for using swear words in your title on a public board.

Why would you want to get rid of these?
I mean... you could win a car!!
    I'd say go for it.

Seriously though, do these adds pop-up even when you're not using your browser? ... try running msconfig and opening the startup tab... look for any startup exe's that you don't recognise and kill, kill, kill.
You could also track it down by using the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and 'end task'ing unneeded processes until the adds stop... and when they do, you'll know which one caused it.
Try the same thing with your services etc.

Have you got messenger plus! installed by any chance? It says it has none but trust me it ****ing well does. Hateful bastard of a program - longer msn msgs aint worth it.

Also get the latest Adware SE Personal for free from lavasoft - though I think you mentioned you may have had lavasoft so just checking you have the latest one. Spybot wouldn't go astray either.

Are you sure? Tried the lastest version? I ran Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and AVG7 and they got nothing. You can chose whether to install the adware or not. Plus, it encrypts your chatlogs.

I reckon he means popups from browsing, I get similar things.
I read on here before that they are called pop-unders and the creators made the change so as to effect firefox. I also heard that they are working on an update.

Check ebaumsworld or zophar.net for examples.
I haven't made these clickable just in case they are harmfull and silly people click on them.
