Program to stitch music files together?

Does anyone know of any program to stitch music files together (preferably free)? I have looked at the stickie of all useful free programs and didnt come across one, and I googled it and was surprised that i couldnt find one, but i reckon it must be me cos i imagine there must be a program such as this, it seems like…

Does anyone know of any program to stitch music files together (preferably free)? I have looked at the stickie of all useful free programs and didnt come across one, and I googled it and was surprised that i couldnt find one, but i reckon it must be me cos i imagine there must be a program such as this, it seems like something loads of people would want to do? I dont overly mind what format the prog would stitch together as i can convert to whatever file type it expects, but for the record i am looking to stitch wav files together.

class, thanks a mil for that BazH - i gave it a go and it was excellent and did exactly what i was lookin for. i was well impressed, it is really easy to use and everything, thanks again man.
