OK i'm being brought over to vegas for my 30th.

My question is , where can i find out what shows will be there ?

I'd prefer some stand up, I'm already booked to go on the Star Trek expernece =), but i'd like to find out what other sights/shows i can experence there.

I'll be there from the 8th till the 23rd o_O

two weeks in vegas is a looooooooooooong time, i would get out of there for a bit. The Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon are nearby and worth a visit (the Dam is on the way to the canyon, so two birds one stone!)

you can do whitewater rafting and stuff there too, god two weeks in vegas would drive you insane

you are either going to love it or hate it being there that long.

I loved the star trek experience, the actors were excelent if funny, the look of worry and shock on their faces, when the borg attack and when they attempt to assimilate you expect a surprise :D I'll say no more but it was fun.
Do the two trek experience simulations.

Oh and go on that rollercoaster in the New York New York hotel, it's scary!!

The hoover Dam is boring tbh, just another huge dam with a visitor centre.
If I were you I'd be thinking of a day trip down to LA( a 3 hr drive or a 1hr flight on a budget airline like america west ) and do some stuff down there aswell like beverly hills and ESPECIALLY universal studios, theres some great rides there and theres the studio tour-actually give there at least 2 days.

The studio tour includes wisteria lane by the way if you like desperate housewives :D but you will recognise a lot of other sets.

2 weeks is a really long time for Vegas.
I spent a few days there and that was enough for me.
I would go back, but only for a few days at a time.

You should definitely check out Blue Man Group at the Luxor, they put on a fantastic show!
Show tickets are generally fairly expensive, but Blue Man Group was quite reasonable.
While it's not stand-up, it's still really funny.

I think there are a couple of clubs/casinos that put on free stand-up shows.
You'll be there long enough to check everything out though.
