Hi there. I'm not one for taking photos. But my girlfriend is. Her camera (it wasn't very fancy) died recently and as we're going on hols soon I thought it might be nice to get another one.

Can anyone interpret this info for me and tell me if it represents good value at €200?? And would i need to buy any further accessories?

    Cheers

Looks like a very good deal to me, im tempted to get one, look up some reviews of it and see what they say. From the info you just gave its well worth 200 smackers IMO

256 mb of memory, over 5 mega pixel pictures and an optical zoom are practically unheard of if you walk into a shop with 200 euros, id say go for it. That 2.5" screen at the back is also a nice feature

just had a look at the Aldi site and on the homepage it is priced at €149.99 but then when you click on the link it comes up at €199.99! Would be even nicer if it was €150!!

the printer is fairly good value too, its a HP 7762, €149 in pcworld! Walk over to aldi and get it €20 cheaper!

I'd say €149 is a misprint, it's £149 on the UK site so expect to pay €200, still a good price,it's has everything you need, although you could buy an extra memory cardhere you will always need it, also you will need to get one of those 3pin to 2 pin
adaptors for charging the batts when on hols.
