    .bin usually refers to it being binary data, it's used by a couple of different applications for totally different things. Ideally you want to use whatever application created it, if not let us know what you think it's for and we might know something.

    Is their an accoiated '.cue' file?

    It could be a cd/dvd image?


    Try open it with notepad/wordpad it could possibly give you some more information on what type of file it is.

    im trying to use it to open a film and it gives me the option to open with... but i cant get anything to get it open with

    Sounds like you've downloaded a corrupt image. You could try burn it to a cd with nero?... or try mount it with a program like alcohol :)

    iof you want to use the bin to burn or whatnot youll need a cue file,
    if ytou dont have one, use makecue

    and open it from the recorder>burn image menu in nero
