    Hi there.

I have tried to use Thunderbird and Incredimail with my yahoo.com account using the following:

    Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)

The last step on Thunderbird and Incredimail is to enter your password. When I do, it tries to verify the password but fails. I enter my usual password I use for my aol.com email account. It pops up asking to contact yahoo for help.

Can anyone advise what I should do? I have a feeling that yahoo.com doesnt support this method.

I'm not sure about your password, but your out going server must be your ISP's. What is your isp?

    I'm going to assume that's a typo - if not, well, I think it's self-explanatory...

You cannot access POP mail from Yahoo.com unless you are subscribing to their premium service.

    yahoo.ie allows you access though.

I suspect they will make it available soon for yahoo.com though as they try and compete with gmail
