Argos are always flogging them cheap, but save your money, the food is tasteless cardboard when you cook with them. Let's just say ... fat tastes gooood... mmmm.

Thats why my mate puts his steak into bread, then dribbles the fat back over the bread!

The drain tray from the george also (with a few bisto granuals) makes for some classic gravy

The dunnes offer of €29 is only until the 29th so get in there while you can. You also get about a fivers (i think) worth of spices with it

Food's always tasted fine for me off em, and they're also great for toasted cheese sambos!

Definitely. Toasted sambo's are the business off them.

Grilling a plain chicken breast on them turns out well too.

For things like burgers, rashers etc I find it takes all the flavour out of them. Definitely notice a difference if you use the frying pan or normal grill. Try it out.

I got one of the George G2's, griddle one side grill on the other, in curry's for 59 euro, have to say its great, meat one side, fry veg on the other .. happy days,

Regarding the cardboard taste.. I Only ever find it happens with Steak and Chicken if used on the grill side so I use the griddle side for these, everthing else is great, (Pork, Lamb and Fish for example) from the grill.

Veg cooks great too and spicy wedges, waffles and the like are done in no time... with a bit of experimentation anything is possible

I highly recomment the G2 for versitility and less cardboard food

    .... except steak.. ;)

Saw the slim version, whatever that is, in Tesco in Galway for 37 down from 50.
