    Yup,

    Was there in 2003. Lovely people, great weather, lots to do and see and fairly affordable (though probably the most expensive country in the region).

    Ljubljana is great, you can spend a week there just relaxing/eating/touristing/whatever you want to do. Piran is pleasant... the Adriatic is really clear and there's some nice things to see and do. We went to see some of the caves around the place as well, which make reasonably interesting half-day trips.

    Was there a few months ago. Ljubljana at about 9pm on a Saturday night along by the river, with candlelight, soft music, murmur of words and the flow of beautiful people had to have been the highlight of my week travelling the region. Go.

    Ljubljana without doubt is one of the nicest we went to when travelling eastern europe a couple of years ago.

    Went to an all night drum n' bass nightclub called sub-sub. Unbelievable.

    If you hit the city near the end of a fesitval, there are firework displays and the place is buzzing.

    Heard there is some fantastic stops places to visit north of the capital aswell
