    can someone tell me why its a complete impossibility to get a singer??!! one who says they are interested and actually show up for practice then?! i need one for my band and 3 in a row said oh yes ill do it then never showed up for their first practice! anyone actually want to sing for our band - really!! ;)

    You might be finding it hard due to you lack of information? What kind of music are you playing? Who are your influences? Where are you rehearsing?

    well i have another add in here explaining all that. this was just to vent some frustration on trying to get a singer! but its rock/indie/pop type stuff like ash, franz ferdinand, no doubt, hole, ......etc

    ok u seemed pissed off! well until ure last posted message here i had no idea what u were lookin for either so ill tell u what i can do then.... easy goin on the music front, like u2, coldplay, steriophonics etc...

    u want a front man well u wont get better, im cocky as **** but easy to get on with and only think we may disagree about is the band name which i think everyone in the band has to be onboard with cause its the foundation!

    i have access to facilities and record labels cause i run the college in ballyfermot college (which includes a rock school) so can help that way and have loads of songs and ideas etc..

    ha, you get singers who dont turn up, I was asked to join a guys band, but they broke up before I even got my first practice! I'm now guitarist and backing vocalist of my own band!

    yes its a female singer and we are rehearsing once a week at the moment but hope to do more if we can when we get prperly set up with a singer.
