not sure if this has been mentioned here but from July 25th, Sky Movies can show movies rated 15s all day every day as long as they are pin protected before the watershed, movies rated 18s are still restricted to night time viewing and R18 movies to remain banned on adult channels. This may be a big dissapointment to some but at least there will be a chance of watching some decent movies during the day on sky instead of cheap, crappy family tv movies that no one wants to watch or have seen 100s of times.

thing is though, as with all "technology" its usually the kids who tell the parents how to use it.

Well, you can hardly blame parents ignorance on their kids! Its up to parents to learn how to use new technology and protect the kids. :D

And it most certainly is about time they brought some decent movies to daytime TV - sky movies is a premium channel, with premium content - why should they have a watershed if you choose to pay through the nose to watch it?!

Indeed. I buy any good movie I want on DVD or occasionally VHS, and save 100s of Euro in Sky Subs and get to watch anytime, any number of times.
