well im hoping some kind people out there will help me with some advice.

ive being putting off going to the dentist for a good few years now( nearly forever) as ive being a student but ive just got my first real job and i know i need alot of work done. i looking for somewhere thats reliable and cheap, im living in monaghan so was thinking of heading over the boarder. so does anyone know any gentle dentist who is cheaper than the republic. i dont necessarily wan the cheapest but dont wanna fork out buckets loads as my pay is still quite low.

I think there has been a dentist thread quite recently here on PI ... do a search of the forum and see if ya can find it. Can't really remember what was in the thread, but I do remember there was loads of suggestions there on where to go, etc.

Dentists = evil!

ive had a look and done a search for the word dentist and all i can find is one about budapest.

There was one on the After Hours board last week I think, but it was basically about how dear they all are - maybe it'll give you some tips on which dentists to avoid!

Check out your situation with PRSI, depending on what age you are and how much you've worked in the past few years you could get cheaper treatment.

HOw do you get in contact with them? Or can you just go to the website?
