After an enquiry about wifi on trains to Irish Rail, they replied that there is internet access on the CityGold service on th Dublin --> Cork route. Im regularly on the Dublin-->Cork train, but being a poor student, I dont feel like shelling out the extra for a CityGold ticket, it would be cheaper to fly. Anyone been on the Citygold, can they confirm the nature of this supposed internet access?

Heres the mail from irish rail:

I've used Citygold - but not having a laptop I can't answer on internet service. But Citygold can be very cheap - say on a Sunday PM I've paid an extra €2 for the privilage - reduced service no waiter or food service

Of course on Friday afternoons out of Dublin it's not cheap :D
