Stereo Wiring Woes

I'm trying to wire my hands free kit again after I installed my new stereo. The old stereo was stolen and when the took it they ripped the cables so I just have the stripped cables. I'm hoping someone can hwlp me out with what is what. The connector is a four block connector. The red and the blue wire connect to a fuse and at the other end is a thicker red cable, as this is fused I presume it is the live cable. Should I connect this to the switch live or permanent live? The other two cables left are black and yellow. Is the black the negative? And is the yellow the mute cable? THe mute cable from the stereo is black and yellow stripped which doesn't help.

My second problem is with the rear speakers. I have them connected correctly but I am not getting any sound. I know there is a signal coming though as when I hook it up to my sub and amp to test it I get an output. Has anyone got any ideas? My head is wrecked.

If you know it goes to the ignition then you can connect it to the permanent live connection to your stereo I presume.

once you have figured the power cables and other stuff and are just left with the speaker cables a small 1.5 volt flashlight battery can be used to identify the speaker pairs. It will produce an audible click in the speaker as you get the pairs right. The voltage is too small damage anything if you get it wrong.
