Help me, Just got Gericom ''Äldi" Läptop!

Hiya people I just bouth this Laptop and have a few questions,

firstly, my Remote control doesnt seem to work, is there anything i should know?, I put in two new Different batteries, and when I push the buttons nothing happens on the remote control or laptop!

secondly, Is it possible to connect to SKy digital? If so how?, my set- up seems to only have scart leads, and the other leads dont do anything?

and also a probably unrelated question, but how do i get it to stop asking me to say the certificates of webbpages or ok, when surfing with Firefox,

hmm, not sure about the remote does it say anything in the instructions?
as far as connecting to sky what do u want to do?do u want to display tv pictures from sky on it?does it have a coaxial input or some other type of input?

as regard the certificates go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, then ADVANCED, then scroll down and under certificates click AUTOMATICALLY.

The TV card has to be on for the remote to work.

Ok I got the remote sorted,
anyone know anything about the sky digital?
also, can you play the Flight Simulator in ENglish, how is this possible?

Im getting the same laptop too. Can you tell me what the remote is for? Changing tv channels? Have you had any look connecting it to sky digital?

Oh cool did u order it from gericom.de? they delivered it in four non working days from fri - mon, pretty great



the laptop comes with a program called power cinema, which interacts wih the remote, so u can use it for tv/movies/pictures.radio and listening to music!,

I didnt get sky digi working, but i didnt try yet really, im sure it works

thanks for the reply Moe - ill let you know how i get on with setting it up with SKy when i get it!

No havent ordered it yet, my dad is trying to get it through his company as we speak.
