    Thanks for posting, handy..

The last event i went to of this nature was the dcc's st patricks day parade which was fantastic!

I'll definitly try make it to the Docklands cycle... :D

Not sure about critical mass though, was unhappy with the way they bundled g8 protests with the event in the past.

Ah well, car free cycling is never a bad thing, whatever guise it may take.

    ;-)

Anyone go on the Docklands cycle last night? Was a bit of craic but quite slow most of the time. State of those kids who joined in!

    Drunk? Unfit?
    All of the above?

No, not quite. Try disadvantaged and uneducated. They managed to keep up with the slow pace but they were quite hilarious. One of those "had to be there" moments but this time it was spread out over an hour.

I'm guessing all this laughing probably dented your pace too :)

Well I was actually able to laugh and cycle at the same time. Most of the funny moments were when we were waiting to regroup. The pace couldn't possibly have been dented any further - I was on a full suspension DH bike, got a punture on my hybrid about 5min before leaving, and I was having no bother keeping up at all.

I hate really slow cycling - staying vertical suddenly becomes a challenge :(
