Anyone know anything about Eye TV, thinking of getting it for my Mac, will i be able to automatically pick up basic channels like RTE, BBC, Channel 4 etc?

it depends which eye tv you go for. the 200 is an analogue one which you can hook up your antenna cable to. i had one and was able to receive rte , tv3 etc. picture quality is ok and it uses about 2 gigs for an hour of footage if memory serves. it records in mpeg 2 and is not bad although the software with it isnt the easiest to use to edit and cut bits out (ie ads) the eye tv 400/410 is for purely digital setups. i was able to get sky on mine as i had the dish set up to transmit around the house but to get the full stereo effect etc you would need the 400. hope this helps!
