Something i hadnt noticed before *SPOILERS*

while watching the pilot, again, i noticed

after the first time lostzilla appears, when its gone and they are all talking about it you can just hear rose in the background saying that the noise was very familiar...odd i think but maybe she heard it during the plane crash

also im gonna check the second epp;s flashback when kate is on the plane, you can see alot out that window, is there any hint of lostzilla there?? just a thought

how come 'lostzilla' didn't eat the polar bear? would have thought it would be a good meal for it.

but then it never actually ate the pilot either, it just chewed him up a bit.

I remember this - I think it could be important, though there hasn't been any follow-up. There's another throwaway line about something being "familiar" in the plot. Kate and Charlie - "I look familiar though, right...?" Probably not, but this is Lost... What if it WASN'T Driveshaft she was thinking of?

Kate asks "have we met anywhere?" Charlie assumes she means she recognises him from Driveshaft and Kate says "You were in Driveshaft?"

But knowing Kate's reputation she could have been covering for something

Yep. Kate didn't seem to know him fully from Driveshaft when he went on to explain that as being the reason. Her friend "Beth" loved them, but what if that was just a line and there was no Beth...?

Maybe there's been something at work and a few of these people have met before but not realised it...

Nearly all the flashbacks have crossed over at one point or another

For example

Hurley appearing in Jin's flashback on the TV

the polar bears are "lostzilla"... I think that's been ruled out

episode 3, its pissing rain and walt and michael are sitting under a piece of wreckage argueing about vincent being missing, michael says he will go look for vincent as soon as it stops raining and suddenly it stops

just though i'd post this as i'm new to this forum but have seen the whole us seris up to date,

dunno if ppl noticed these but:

charlie was sitting at the front of plane when it crashed

kate was restrained in her seat, how did she reach keys? ( this could be explained alot so not too curious about this one)

french woman has been on the island for 16 years as far as we know because she left a message in french with only 1 person of the survivors being able to understand french.........yet when they find the french woman she speaks english?

i'm sure there is more but i thought i'd point out the obvious 3, the most annoying one to me is the french woman speaking english even tho she left her message in french

We may have to suspend disbelief as regards his winding up on the beach. I do think it's one of the more gaping flaws in the pilot. He had to have been up near the front, as his drugs were in the toilet near the cockpit. (Incidentially, this was above first class and on a plane like this, you're not allowed to be in that area unless you have a seat there. It's normally curtained off.)

Either Charlie a) managed to get to the middle section of the plane before the actual crash itself (though this seems unlikely) b) he managed to get further down the plane before the camera showed him getting into his seat (though I think he's clearly at the top still in the scene) c) he got sucked out as the plane was going down, (I know he had a seatbelt on) but was miraculously unhurt wherever he landed, or d) (which is similar) 'the island' saved him in the same way it hurtled a relatively unhurt Jack into the jungle near the beach.

Keys were in his right pocket, next to her, I think. She had just enough elbow room to reach around, get them and undo the lock.

Odd that she didn't think a more international language like English was better for sending a distress call in, but maybe she thought French agencies would be looking for her and her group, and so on the lookout for a French message. (Not a great explanation, I know.)

well charlie one is a mystery

kate i didn't mind as the keys could have of course been beside her

but yes if she speaks english it might have been better to send the 2nd most spoken language in the world out as a distress call and being a group of scientists it wouldn't have been too hard to come up with that idea so it's a bit of a flop


on the plus side, i love the show and can't wait for season 2
