Quick google says no, nothing basically

Windows 98's USB support is chronically poor and there are no drivers to support the iPod in the first place, let alone the weird metadata it uses for tracks

Bring the iPod back and get a Creative or another one that has 98SE drivers.

He didn't. He already googled it, actually doing some of the legwork.

Read the post properly before you start attacking people.

A driver written specifically for WinMe and the iPod is unlikely to work in Win98. However, the very first google for "windows 89 ipod" gives this:

here is the link to the page
    http://www.ipodlounge.com/index.php...ftware-windows/

go down to Anapod Reinitializer 1.0.0

    this is the info:-

Anapod Reinitializer is a free, lightweight utility for reformatting and reinitializing your iPod. Its function is equivalent to the Restore button in the Apple iPod Updater utility. Anapod Reinitializer runs on all versions of Windows, so it allows Windows 98/ME users (who cannot use Apple's software because it only runs on 2000/XP) to format their iPods.

    Pod Player 1.2

Pod Player (formerly MyPodPlayer) is a freeware application to carry on your iPod. You can play your music on any computer when you iPod is connected without the need to install any programs such as iTunes. When launched, it will look for an attached iPod and when it finds one it will read the music database on the iPod. You will then be able to views your songs in a similar way as in iTunes (by artist, genre, album, playlist, etc). You can now also extract songs from it. There are a few little extra features such as iPod Hacks, checking for duplicates etc. There is no installation, just an independent program.

    and the download link is
