    Since RTE didn't show a promo for next week... (not even after showing a solid 30 minutes of advertisements and cutting dialogue / scenes outta the episodes)... here's 2 promos for next week's episode to whet all your appetites!

    RTE are a mess.I have seen all the epis so far and RTE fools ripped out scenes,I wouldn't bother watchingit there, just get them from a dish and watch them when ABC aires them, besides I dont think will be a hit over here, most of my fellow country folk would rather watch Eastenders or Faircity....junk like that

    As doh.ie said, RTE cut the scenes before the opening titles out for it. Not too sure why RTE did this. Maybe to make it appear more "movie-like" (going straight into the opening title.. no idea really! .. still an absolute joke!

    RTE will just be showing the one episode a week from now on!

    I didn't watch it last night, but are you serious? They cut scenes out of it? Thats unbelievable.... I hear the ads and sponsorship were really annoying too. Its hard to watch ads when you're used to watching it straight through unbroken for 42 minutes.....

    I saw the ist eppi last september so i kinda forget it, but they did cut scenes,worst was those stupid f*****inf o2 Ads, they are so annoying

    And why? To remove episode credits that were coming up on Part II cos they didn't bother to ask for the right version, or check to see if there was 'clean' footage of those scenes on the Master tape.

    Yep! I think the US do some excellent promos generally, but their Lost ones are very impressive. I saved this bunch of Lost ones to playlist with episodes together when I'm showing the show to people, so it goes Ep 1x03, Promo 1x04 (and now End Credits). Really adds to the anticipation of the next ep.

    RTE have a pretty cool one for "Tabula Rasa" on at the moment as well, which uses the end credits tune as its music bed. Looks quite well.
