    Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else on the forum so don't know if we've any Leitrim supporters but just like to say congratulations to Leitrim on their win at the weekend. They surprised alot of people, including myself.

    I'm sure there'll be lots more shocks in the Championship as always but they've registered the first.

    In fairness they beat a bad sligo side. And it wa only the first round of the championship. If ya saw the highlights the players had acres of space a lot of the time. I would be more encouraged by wicklows display against kildare. If they sort out theyre shooting they are quite a good opposition. Interesting to see how they fare out in the qualifiers

    Wicklow were good against Kildare alright but the big flaw in their display was that they failed to win. And, at the end of the day, no matter what they may have told you in under 12s, its all about winning.
