Just wondering guys-- and girls-- of what the best type of paypal account would be. I want to buy and sell online but i don't have a credit of debit card ( don't trust myself) . Is it possible to have funds taken or put in to my current acount directly and if so what are the chareges/ commisions. I bank with AIB. Went on to theire site but i would just prefer to hear from people wjo have dealt with paypal rather than an advertisement. Thanks.

You can only withdraw funds from the PP account, not add them. So you'd be fine for selling but not for buying. To buy you need a credit card or a US bank account (and possibly some other countries too but not RoI)
[edit] possinbly a paid for merchant account has better privileges but the 2 free accounts don't
