    Bus Stops on O'Connell Street

Dublin City Council have begun work on the reconstruction of O'Connell Street Upper. This project will take 12 months.

The first phase of the project involves road widening and footpath narrowing along both sides of the street to facilitate the bigger works on the central median.

This first phase will take a few weeks and requires temporary movements of bus stops on both sides of the street. In most instances Dublin Bus are minimising the distances of the bus stop movements to avoid customer and driver confusion. This is not always possible.

Dublin Bus are utilising customer service personnel as much as possible when bus stop movements are more significant.

Dublin Bus regrets any customer inconvenience during this phase of the works.

Finally, a 12 month bus stop plan will be in place once the main works start and this plan will be communicated to our customers.
