I'd reccomend Logitech. I have the Z680s and they're savage! They've been replaced now by a newer model with the same specs but different appearance. You can have 3 devices connected up at once and swap between them which I find is well handy. Plus they sound sweet. Got them for €330ish on Amazon but they're on Komplett every now and again.

I bought the Logitech Z2200 THX certified set of 2.1 speakers not so long ago and am very very impressed. To be honest, its the best 100 euro I have ever spent on a computer component. They have been updated with the Z2300 recently and they are meant to be even better.

I would recommend most here to be honest:

Yea I have them. Got them about 8 months ago and I have abosolutly no complaints. They are very load (even though iv not turned them any higher than 80% total). The sound is crystal clear aswell.
Watching the likes of Lord of the Rings its just like the cinema. I also bought the audigy 2 soundcard.
it takes a month or two to burn them in by the way.
