    Heya
    Just wondering if anyone here ever went to the elc courses in roscrea or anywhere else and what you thought of them?

    P.s Elc is a french version of Irish college

    yup, elc pioneer.. been to about 4 courses and my sister was student, assistant and animator on them, so obviously Id recommend them BUT you have to make the effort or you will be sent home. Brilliant way to make friends have a laugh and you learn ALOT...
    wasnt in roscrea myself, only villiers, multyfarnham and flannans

    Went to multifarnham in summer before 5th year
    Didn't like it that much - I spoke waaaay too much English, really easy to get away with it.
    Also its expensive (not subsidised like the gaeltachts)
    I'd say go only if you have the willpower to speak german/french by yourself otherwise its a waste of money and time!
    (the craic was brill though and made loads of friends....!)
