I used to play a lot of golf in the late 80s/early 90s but due to moving & educ/work didnt have a chance to keep it up. I played to a decent standard of between 3 and 4 back then and now have the circumstances where i can take the game up seriously again. Before i do that id like to get some decent coaching from a good pro - anyone got any recommendations of someone, in and around the Dublin area, whose got a good rep? Much appreciated.

Out in St.Margerest i think. A guy lived cross the road from me and a guy I used to play with. Gary Carney and Mark O Mahony, two good coaches. They take the best of what your using, they dont totally hange you completly.

If your looking for Dynamic Swing changes try Sid Baldwin of Hollywood Lakes.

Its nothing in particular, just an overall thing. Before i start to try an remember how to swing the club again i reckon it'd be a good idea to get some good habits installed :)

Someone mentioned to me the McGregor academy in Citywest, theyve got a camera system which lets you see your setup on tape. Sounds ok but i suppose the most important thing is a clued in pro. Anyone any experience of that place?

only one choice...ignore any of those recommendations. Wayne Westner at City West...current PGA european tour pro even though he does not play that much anymore..he was famous for blowing a playoff to faldo in the Irish Open...remember???duffed a bunker shot!? anyway he is settle with an Irish bird (he's South African)

Another Great teacher...Brendan McDaid out of Rathsallagh...hard to get a time but you only get what you pay for...simple as that.

By the way I am a 2 handicapper just getting back into the game and there are so many wasters out there who will take your money and not give a fcuk!!
