Oh Dear!

Found this site whilst googling (for a bare wood pix of the 'real' Falcon from the Elstree studio set that I remebered seeing in a book when I was a kid.)

In fairness, one can tell they put a lot of effort into their Falcon BUT CMON! Luke would have been fully justified exclaiming 'what a piece of junk' if he had ever seen the result of this exercise in pointlessness. The thing looks more like one of those shuttles from 'V' than the MF.

The ultimate punchline was what happened to their 'set' they day after filming had concluded. Fitting I would have thought!
