    well in all fairness, the parallels between he man and the life of a gay man are rather striking....

    by day, he's prince adam, wears tight trousers, has his hair in a neat blond bob, has two doting parents, is described as "happy go lucky"; by night, his sword grows, he puts on bondage gear, and hangs out with "man at arms" his older more experienced friend, who likes to "go into battle" next to his young comrade... he also has a moustache.

    he has a cat, who he is always humiliating and talking the pìss out of in public, but who he secretly adores...

    his sworn arch nemesis "Skeletor" is a walking meatphor for the spectre of approaching old age, loneliness, and possible risk of infectious disease, and the stigma that would carry with it.
