TV setup code

    First post to this forum, thanks in advance for the info I know I will recieve.
    Can anybody tell me the TV setup code for a Magnavox TV, required for the Sky remote controll or a generic code that may help. :)

    A fantastic list of codes there, though Magnavox isn't listed. As it's probably another rebadge TV, try codes for Beko, Black Diamond, Goodmans, Alba, Bush, or Philips.

    If none of those help, let us know.

    I bought a Targa 2010 LCD-TV in lidl the other day but can't for the life of me find the remote codes for the SKY remote, I've tried the usual places on the web but no luck!.

    Does anybody out there have them?

    You are looking for codes for the motherboard in the TV, which may depend on the chip used. There is a chance that what with the Targa being newer than the SKY remote it may not be there and you'd have to get a one-for-all type remote that does SKY and TARGA. (try the pound shops - should be a fiver or something if you are worried about splashing out.)

    check the SKY+ remotes too - they are newer and may have more listings.

    The Targa may be rebadged - so try to find the OEM

    I can't remember if you can scan with the SKY remote to find unknown TV's like you can with the generic one-for-all's, any one know ?
