ok. i have a good few films on my hard drive which are takin up room so i want o burn them to dvd.

    for example:

hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is split into 2 avi files of bout 300MB each. i want to join them up and make the film watchable as a dvd film on my set-top dvd player.

toast takes a million years to just encode the two before eventually telling me it suddenly cant do it. it als claims the film/clips are 2 big to be put on 1 dvd

iMovie & iDVD wont import them coz they just wont, gay.

    help?

Doesn't Quicktime let you export as DV streams which you can then bring into iMovie to join/edit and then create a DVD project?? I've done this a couple of times and it worked for me!
