Just fill her up with the new fuel, start, retune, use.
Of course, if you have caused engine wear to the pistons/liners already (excessive internal heat with the 20%), and if compression is permanently reduced as a result, it could be hard to start with the 10%, or 5%.

Well, the carb needle setting that was "nicest" with say 25% nitro, will be different from the carb needle setting that you will prefer with 10%.

eg with 20% you might like 3 turns open, but on 10% you might prefer 2 3/4 turns open, (screwing needle out from fully in)

So with the new juice inside, you retune until it runs right.

I'm just a little curious .... why go down in nitro, most folks go higher as time passes and the engine loses power ....?

i've a gallon of 10% but barely a tank of 25% and was just taking it easy so didn't want to waste it!

Mixing them together would be no harm .... the 10% would have a bit more "kick" as a result, and be less of a change.
