Hi guys, am hoping to get more active this summer and was wondering if anyone knows how to get involved in tag rugby? I'd love to start playing but not really sure how to go about finding myself a team which will adopt me!! I'm a girl and based in south Dublin.Thanks! x

go to the website ... www.tagrugby.ie ... it's a good site but there's so much much going on on it that it looks clutered.

On the home page there is a link where you can search for a player or a team ... you can go in there and register your details (phone, e-mail, whatever). If there are still teams looking for players they will more than likely be looking for candidates in there and they will contact you. The leagues are starting up next week so you might be a little bit late, unless you have contact with some mates who are on a team this is definitely the best way of linking up with a team.

I'd happily take you but the team I'm organising is playing in the league in Waterford !!! - our main criteria for team members is enthusiasm rather than skill level or experience and I would say a lot of the other teams that play would share that sentiment.

In all honesty it is probably a bit late to try to find a team as the leagues are starting on Monday but its worth a try. Where are you based? I'll ask around my teams if they need players.
