Colours Night @ The Portobello

    Just wondering has anybody been to the new "Colours Night" at the Portobello.. I spotted the big promotional banner they have on the front of the pub en route to work this morning and Im curious... Is it dance music or what?? Its a very 'nightclubesque' looking advertisement... (for a pub) :confused:

    aaaaaaaaaah I see :rolleyes: I was thinking of "Colourfest" last year at Enigma in Carrickmacross... Hence the link to Dance music..

    'The Colours' night has been going on in the portobello for a good few years.

    Its where you wear your teams colours. GAA shirt usually.

    its for all the civil service culchies who live in dublin during the week.
    it hink most of them live in the rathmines/portabello area :)

    yeah pretty much... i think a few of the colleges DCU etc used to organise them as well on a thursday night in the portobello...

    If you want to score some hairy country girl then this is the spot :D

    was there last weekend, think they have a new promotion downstairs in the nightclub this friday onwards, 3 euros per drink!!!!!!

    Thursday night is colours night ware your county or club jerzy and get you first 2 pints free music a bit of everything its a good night with DJ JC check it out.

    also Fri and Sat its €3 a drink 10e admission 7e with consession Saturday night Rnb chart Dance rock and oldies and lots of cheese a good mix to suit everybody!
