This late at night if your probably not going to get the answer you need very quickly. My suggestion would be to google it, sorry i couldnt be of more help(dont use yahoo messenger)

doesnt tell much about the problem only that its the exe file of yahoo messenger try uninstalling it, then re-install and see if that works.

its happened with a few sites like www.zone.com aswell , i thinks a router prob somthin to do with ips

Yeah that's what I would do. A router shouldn't cause the EXE to crash unless it's poorly coded. Even better is to use TRILLIAN, that way you can access all your instant messaging in one app.
