    Hey folks,

I just need to know where row E is roughly located in the theatres in UGC. Some cinemas letter the rows from the back, others from the front, but i cant remember which way UGC do it?

So, if anyone can remember, is row E near the front or back?

Bugger. So that would mean that row E is probably uncomfortably close to the screen. Thanks.

    Screen 17, Row E, Seats 32, 33, 34

For Star Wars tomorrow at 18:15.

Those seat numbers are probably way off to the side too aren't they?

That doesn't meant that it's a kip. Imo it's one of the best cinemas in Dublin, bar the location. Say you bought 2 tickets, maybe there were two seats left, but they were really far apart and not easily visible while the screen was packed?

Yeah, in my opinion it's *the* best cinema in the city.

Rite and they could tell us at the time they sold us the tickets that we'd have to sit seperately? I dont think that was the case anyway cause there were other people walking in after us popcorn in hand and no seats for them either.... Granted it is big and has a bar in it etc but I found the service to be crap..

I've found no matter where the seat is in screen 17 that you have a great view...

I got a ticket once for the second row 'B' right against the far wall... At first I was pissed off, but when I actually sat down it was fine. The screen is far enough away from the first row, that sitting in the first row isn't bad at all...

The seats that you have listed there will be fine.

Doesn't seem like a reasonable assumption... He was just disagreeing with you for saying it's a kip. same as everyone else who commented on it. A kip implies it's dirty or ****... what you meant was "a bad thing happened to me once there and as a result i have a negative impression of the establishment".

    good day.

Have to agree. In the city centre. Ster Century is the best cinema in Dublin. Helpful staff, and if a film's sold out, them put up signs saying so.

LOL... they do this in virtually every cinema... no great advantage there.

I was at the Star Wars preview the other night in Ster Century. Twas my first time there. Bit far out of the way for my liking, but it's a nice cinema. Dunno what the story was with the preview I was at though, I got tickets through work, but the cinema was only about 50% full.

    Very comfortable.

    K.

Ster Century isn't in the city.

I used to work in Ster Century back in my college days *shudder*, hence my opinion of UGC's superiority.

Episode 3 is surprisingly good by the way.

  • Sometimes there are more people than seats cos people sneak in, although thats hard to do when theres ushers on the door or assigned seats. If this wasn't the case I'd say it was just people sneaking in, which isn't UGCs fault.
