You should get back onto Eircom because I used to live in the estate next to you, Bremore Castle and I was able to get broadband.
They initially told me that it was not possible so I asked to to get an engineer to check it (which is free, you ring 1901, get to the broadband sales and request an engineer).
After about a week Eircom came back and said that I could get broadband, so I did with Esat.
In my experience I would not use that company again as I personally have had an unbelievable experience with them.

Hi Ciarann, I live in New Haven in Balbriggan and am also looking to get Broadband (I have no home phone line). ICE BROADBAND will connect you for €99 (dish on roof) and then its €38 per month.
    Andrea :)
