Imo warnings are only needed if a ban is involved. If the thread has tred dodgey ground it warrents a locking. And yes, pm'in the mod would have been the right way to go about this.

there's absoloutely no point in getting annoyed etc by LiouVille's posts, for the 30,000 people on boards a few of us are bound to have different opinions. best everyone aggrees to disaggree?!
and maybe LiouVille could remember there's always more productive ways of getting you point across then using bad language/ insulting. people would probably respect you more if you didn't insult them.

Your 'spam' thread was locked for being just that John so stop complaining, you should know better and not require warnings.

AB's comment was an attempt to start a complete flame war and tbh if i see another one like it i'll ban him for a week, we arn't here to try make insulting references to people.
