Or try friends reunited, if you know their school.

If they or their parents run a company you can get their (or parents) address from the company information. Try cro.ie. Amazing how many ppl show up on company files. I think you can do a search by name there (without knowing the name of their company).

How does that work? Do both parties have to sign up? If not, how do they get contact information?

Depending on their age etc.... try locating their parents. Older tend to be a lot less transient. Also Aunts, uncles, and other family.

    Stalker eh?

If you know the town that she's from try ringing one of the local pubs... Usually a good source to find someone as they usually know all their punters, depending on the size of the town that is..

If you are really desperate you could try ringing Gerry Ryan?

Depending on the lengths you are prepared to go to- you could always try the voter registers. You can view these in the county library. If its female and she may have married- try the GRO for marriage certs (if she did get married the marriage cert will also have the address of the marriage home on in- and marriages are registered twice- once each in the names of both the hubby and wife (in her maiden name).

Its not difficult to find people, can be time consuming, but not difficult.
