deformed tongue...is this normal?

okay......so i've had my tongue pierced for a good few years, & i recently (being the last year or two) noticed that the end of my tongue kinda turns to the side now :eek: is this normal?????? it's only noticable when i stick my tongue out to a point (if ya'll know wot i mean). i really dont wanna take out the piercing coz…
