I am thinking of bringing my sky+ box out to spain as I will be there for the Lions Tour. The appartment has already a Sky box and a UK FTV card which works perfectly. The question is will the sky+ box work from this connection with my Irish card as there is only one lnb connection. Is there any reason why i cant record when I am not looking at anything else? _ Opinions much appreciated

Well the live pause will work on one lnb so I'm almost sure you can record the channel being viewed.

The tuner on a Sky+ is also good enough for reception here in Spain.Practically all installs are now done using the Pace 2600 digibox,as opposed to its predecessor as far as stronger tuners, the Panasonic DSB30 and it seems to be the opinion that the Sky+ Tuner is up to the job.

Reception can vary greatly depending on the box, here in the pub I have a Panasonic DSB 50 which is very tempremental, whereas my Pace 2600 is consistent and pulls most stuff in relaibly, both off the same 2.8m Prime focus Dish

Out of curiosity do you split the signal fron one lnb or is it twin output?
