Considering getting a motherboard/CPU replaced. I know I could probably handle it myself quite easily, but I can't afford it if something screws up.

Maplin do it if you buy it there. I think PC World do it if you buy it there too.

I found this place pretty good http://www.computersunlimited.ie I was having problems with freezing at boot up and they correctly diagnosed a motherboard problem. I reckoned it would probably be cheaper to replace it myself and so I picked one up on komplett.ie for a reasonable price. I'd never attempted it before but it wasn't as scary/difficult as I imagined and my PC is running really well since. In fact I'm contemplating building a HTPC soon!
