Hey,

I Started in an office in the past year after I finished college, which is great.
So I started to go out with them on Friday's & Saturday's, to my amazement, everybody is scoring with each other. It doesn't matter whether you've a boyfriend/girlfriend, you're fair game, like it or lump it. I've been with a few girls & am in a relationship.We're all in our early 20's, so i presume that our office a big bunch of hormones just waiting for every weekend.

Curious, is this the norm for all offices????

i guess if the majority of employees are around you age, this kind of carry on might take place.
never seen anything like it myself though

I worked in an office before with a load of people who were in their late teens/early twenties and those type antics were par for the course tbh.

I don't know about it being the norm for all offices but certainly can happen when there's a groups of drunken young people going on the tear with each other regularly.

I don't have any direct experience with this myself but I have heard of it. A mate of my sister's started a job after getting her degree and was shocked when they had nights out because the same thing you described was happening. Even people in long term relationships were with each other. I don't know how common this is but it's not just your office (unless it's the same place :eek: )

I've been told that I bring it on myself (apperntly I'm a big flirt) & that one of the women is into me, I think she's nice but not looking for anything to happen,been with a few of them & they know I've a girlfriend so I don't want to get a name for myself.I'm trying to limit my interactions with them outside of the office so that it doesn't happen again.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. You do know that there is also freedom of choice and all that?

Is it written on the contract that "on signing this here contract, you are obliged to score somebody from the office on a night out, regardless of whether you have an other half or not"? I doubt it. So why did you go off cheating on your girl then?

To be honest, that kind of behaviour is kind of ****ed up, in my opinion. It doesn't matter if they are in their early 20s, or whatever age they are. Do they not have any respect for their partners?

And it doesn't say much about your relationship either if you are off lumping with all the girls in your office so soon after you arrive.

How long have you been with your girlfriend? Just because everyone in your office seems to be into cheating on their partners, it doesn't make it right.

I was merely curious to whether this was the norm. I've been with her 4yrs+. I know that its not right & i've never done it before, nor am i proud i did it.It just seems that all the women in the office have lost all their inhibitions.

I like the way you are trying to blame it on the women, by saying that it's their fault because they "have lost all their inhibitions".

I'm sorry, but you are as much to blame. I just have serious issues with people who cheat, it really pisses me off! But I won't get into that argument.
