You've spent thousands already and you're asking questions like "So i was wondering if anyone knows would plastic surgery help or hinder me? Maybe a skin graft??"

When did you go to a doctor last?

btw I was fastest, don't forget it.

4 weeks ago. First grand was curing acne. second was on reducing keloids. if you cut a keloid you end up with a bigger one. now finally my keloids are gone but im left with red flat scars that can be done with sugery i hope - of course you always run the risk of more keloids though.
    are you happy with that?

    now any useful help?
As opposed to unuseful help I presume.

Why can't you get plastic surgery for the scars in Ireland?

why did you start two threads?

Ehhh ... if you are gonna get something done as big as surgery, then you should be asking a PROFESSIONAL, not a bunch of people on here who have no medical / surgery professional advice.

If you're gonna be getting surgery, then at least ask a doctor about it. It's not gonna cost much to go back to a doctor and ask him to refer you to a plastic surgeon. At least then, you'll know you will be referred to a reputable firm, rather than some place with below par standards.

Because i know nothing of the entire industry/procedure/firms/cost involved.
Have you asked the professionals that you have spent thousands on?

Is there something that you don't understand?

No one here can give you advice of plastic surgery, only a doctor can do that for you.

I mean, what's not to understand about this?

do you have an issue with the fact that ive paid a lot of money for medical help in the last while?
Why are you mentioning it at every possible chance?
Is there anyway i can exclude ppl from posting on my threads?

Yes i have asked them for alternatives and they said exactly that operating on keloids is tricky business. Now my keloids are almost gone i feel like getting the remaining scars removed if possible.

Now id really like info on plastic surgery and not be badgered about my accounts. Do you have any info on plastic surgery? in ireland or overseas? as i asked 2 posts ago.

    Hey Uum.
I see you're getting fairly irked with Gordon. You can't exclude him... especially since he's a moderator of this forum.
However, I don't think he's trying to just concentrate on the money you spent. I think his point is, considering you have spent time and money consulting medical professionals, it seems to people reading this thread that you have been given virtually no advice on the matter. That in itself is unusual.

I can't answer your questions myself, but here's a site from the royal college of surgeons with advice for people considering cosmetic surgery:
    http://www.rcsi.ie/news/index.asp?id=34&nid=593

I hope it helps you. You seem fairly agitated about this. The only thing I would advise is to try and remain calm and take your time about making a decision. You don't want to make any rash choices and regret them later.

    Good luck.

Gordon is a moderator of this forum, if anyone is going to exclude people, it will be him.

the reason he has asked you the question regarding money is, if you have been to doctors with regards to this topic already, how come you haven't asked them the questions you require answering?
they are much more qualified to answer them, nobody in here can do that, further more, I will not allow it as this is not a medical board

Oh my God, for the last time - i dont want medical info or help.
What i want is GENERAL info on peoples EXPIERENCES with plastic surgery in ireland or abroad.

And from what ive expierenced specialists are not normally in the habit of referring you to other specialists whether its for money or ego or whatever issues i dont know.

Ye might as well close this thread too now. Did anyone actually read my posts? (the ones where i wasnt responding to questions.)

    Very well.
A close friend of mine had cosmetic surgery on her legs a few years back in Ireland. Generally speaking, her experience was a good one. She was pleased with the results.
